Oh, very few threads START on the topic of religion. But sooner or later religion gets worked in (perhaps due to snide comments by atheists), and we read those words we all dread: "Why do you say that, [whoever mentioned religion]?"

Then it's only a matter of minutes before the KJV quotes start piling up. You've been known to add a full page to a thread, in uninterrupted bible-postings, in under half an hour. Not that I object to prompt comebacks of that nature, but THAT is what I call a thread-killing!
