Oh yeah. Buncha commies who sit around with their thumbs up their asses while designing starships "on the cheap" (How many SW vessels you know of that have reactor meltdowns and blow up the ship?) and giving away territory with Federation citizens in it to appease a bunch of slightly worse *******s.

If I lived in the Star Trek universe, I'd be a staunch militarist.

If I lived in the Star Trekverse I'd move to one of the Human planets outside of the Federation.

Then I could live in a free-market society AND not have to worry about Federation engineering ("We put the "fail" in failsafe!")

How often is the Federation defeated by Teddy Bears?

I would be an arms dealer, and sell lasar guns that shot colors other than red and blue.

Good point. Not only were their hopes pinned on some dufus kid named Luke, Yoda was whining like a little ***** about how Luke didn't deserve to be trained and how he didn't want to do it.

But don't forget...Teddy Bears got their name because the first ones reminded people of Republican President Theodore Roosevelt. Bully, simply bully!

As opposed to the Federation, who have never heard of the phrase "combined arms doctrine".

and the Jedi are not cowards...

they are a bunch of pussies...

however... the Emperor is no tough guy either... he couldn't take control without Anakin. So basically... the key to everything in Star Wars was the Skywalkers... Anakin (Darth Vader)... then Luke.

Everyone else was just along for the ride.
