Maybe if the athletes were 200 lbs overweight like in Football or hopped up on steroids like Baseball or dreadfully boring like Golf, it'd be more exciting for you.

I think it's a very fun sport. Played it on a lake a couple times (not at all to know what I'm doing) but so so fun. And when i watch it, I get none of that sense.

Wait...I'm being too harsh. If I watched more and knew rules more, I would get more appreciation, but I still don't see the point of the fighting. Just play the sport!

Fighting is part of the sport, and the more experienced watchers of the sport know how much it can affect momentum.

For example, it's well known that if you want to win, the last thing you wanted to do was get Messier in a fight -- same thing these days with Iginla. It's like waking a sleeping giant.

It's a waste. Maybe we should make fighting part of the sport in football? Or how about we make beating each other with the k\hockey stick a part of the sport. It could be?
