I'm ambivalent, in the sense of torn between two strong ideas.Jealousy often accompany romantic love affairs. If you didn't have it, that can be construed as something was missing deep down.
I see how and why folks want someone who is jealous, in the sense that they show they only want to be with their lover, and they don't want to share with anyone else. I would expect that of myself, to be with just the one gal, and no one else.
