The game wasn't even close. Your goaltending is no match for Calgary's, your defense is no match, and, apparently, your offense is no match.

Calgary has half a dozen injured players, too. If you can't score against the Marchment/Hulse pairing, you totally suck.

Hmm. I'm looking at the scoresheet and I'm seeing 4-1.

I saw the Edmonton goal annulled on the basis of Torres high-sticking a defencemen, leaving an open Edmonton player and leading to the goal.

I see a Calgary powerplay goal on the proceeding powerplay, on an obvious penalty, and a clear goal at that.

And I see Edmontonians in tears coming to reality that their team sucks. And they got robbed on the Roloson and Samsonov trades, so the team will suck for years to come.

Remarkably, 2 more shutouts for Ninot end up having no impact on the stopper stats. But he's still ahead 4-3, having kept 2 ahead in G and snuck a 1 A lead. It's up to my emergency Sunday pickups now...

Good start for both of us. With the final matchups lasting 16 days (Apr 3 to 18), no lead is safe.

I wonder if the minimum G games is doubled because of the longer duration?
