Donovan did dive -- a penalty.

Edmonton lost, get over it, don't blame the reffing for a 3 goal differential.

You can't 'hook' a stick, child. Sticks are fair game. The body isn't.

The goal called back and then the goal on Calgary's PP. 3-2 goes to 4-1 in 30 seconds. Only a moron would not see the large difference that made.

Only a moron would argue that the goal should've counted. You didn't score because you got a penalty, it's just a shame the refs didn't call it earlier so you'd stop hanging onto this like the pathetic child you are.

Oilers LOST. They didn't play as well. The Flames forechecking demolished Edmonton's momentum and possession, and most of their shots were gimmies from the point.

They are an inferior team, period.

BS. There was a scrum of three players. The ref in the zone saw a penalty. He raised his arm. Edmonton had the puck. The raised arm indicates he saw a Calgary penalty. Edmonton had the puck for 10 seconds and then put it in the net.

Then the ref from centre calls it off. He saw a different penalty, I guess, but why did he not blow the whistle?

meanwhile, because Calgary had a penalty coming... remember the ref with the raised arm? yes, that one... Roloson left the net and went to our bench.

That's pretty smooth. Stealth penalties. Get the penalised team to vacate the net and make it easier for the other team to score, since the play should't be called when they have the ****ing puck!

And if there's a dive, is there a penalty against him? They let stick contact with the body go all the time. They call it when there is an actual tug. If there was a tug, why call diving?

Did you not see the video replay of the Torres stick to Marchment's face? That is a penalty. When you take a penalty and then score, it is nullified.

This happens all the time, coincidentals for a penalty as well as diving. There can be a penalty (a hook, for instance) and then the hookee can dive to make it more obvious (also a penalty).

I saw more than one penalty. Many penalties get missed. The ref in the zone had the arm up while Edmonton had possession.

If Edmonton had the penalty and we had the puck, why not blow the whistle?

It was a cluster****. It may not have turned the game, but 3-2 would have been a lot different than 4-1.

What happened to the pn\enalty that the ref in the zone saw that had him calling one on Calgary?

The officiating stunk. It was that which only a Flames fan could love.
