I played a gig opposite there last Saturday at the Water Rats, which is a great little venue. Kings X doesn't have a brilliant rep, but it's being regenerated for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.

As usual when I try to do something fun and different reality rears its ugly head. We got a whopping £700 rent & electricity bill for the boat.

Seems like I miscalculated the heating costs for this winter...

I´ll be lucky if I can afford the train to Oslo to attend my nephews christening...

You can say that. We had some money on our mutual boat account, but no enough... It´s no immediate panic, we can pay the bill. But our whole financial planning for much of the year is shot to hell
