Well the lady of the house has gone home for the next couple of weeks so my place is free (Will I regret saying that?!). Just let me known if yer missus'll be coming so I can make sure the place is fit for female presence!

What day's this? I'm up for popping down if I'm free - can co-ordinate it with house hunting in East London

Meh, dammit, may have been able to make it.
I'm working at Canary Wharf for the summer, so as close to there as possible - preferably walking distance (possible, though unlikely), if not then somewhere on the Jubilee line or DLR. Canada Water, Stratford, Canning Town all possibilities.Smile

I know a few people who live (or have lived) in Canada Water, it seems to be alright for young professionals. A friend lives between the Wharf and the Isle of Dogs but the amount of even vaguely affordable decent housing there is negligible...Visit the Vote UK Discussion Forum!

Greenwich should be a good place to do at some point...very convenient for both of us...Originally posted by Drogue

Actually, I've found *lots* of very nice, affordable apartments there. Sadly none yet available for a short term rental, howeverOriginally posted by *End Is Forever*

Yeah, I opted for somewhere a little bit more sizeable a bit further out...bear in mind that I don't actually work in London, so this is quite a nice compromise...Originally posted by Drogue
