                  To me, you are showing the very definition of a strawman. You put words and ideas in Zoid's mouth, which aren't his, and then you attack your-fantasy-of-what-Zoid-is.

                  Zoid explains that a climate of frustration has grown among the Muslims because the west has been continuously treating the Muslims like crap for a long time. Most notably, he speaks abotu "injustices being done in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, France, Chechnya". The difficulties they're facing there has hardly anything to do with enlightenment values.
                  The Winstonian fantasy of "Zoid" believes that it's enlightenment values that stir the Muslim hatred, and that we should excuse them for killing in their fight against enlightenment values. After all, we're enlightened and its our own damn fault.

                  The actual Zoid has a reasonable point of view (if a bit too deterministic for my tastes), while the Winstonian fantasy is grotesque.

                  Maybe you should parry with the actual Zoid, by discussing his arguments, instead of trying to PWN a strawman you made yourself?

                            I've already proposed that Legos be renamed "Freedom Blocks". We could rename Havarti "Freedom cheese" and Carlsberg "Freedom beer". I propose that Legos get started on a new set of blocks - featuring brave Viking knights defending "Fortress Europa" from hordes of swarthy turban wearing enemies.
