YOu know it's like this then.. in our strong ones, some weird dudes get to win. It's unfair. You saw the last top 3 though, in second round? They all got in with bad wind. Before that, everyone was going like 104 meters. Then the best 3 (from first round), and they all drop into the same spot, crying for bad wind. Tough sport if you think about it. But that's the way it goes.

Oh yeah, and one of them was Ahonen, the best jumper in the world! I hope Jökklessöi eats a pretzel and CHOKES!

I was rooting for Bode Miller to medal in the downhill, but it wasn't to be. He was close, but the others were better. ESPECIALLY that Frenchman who won the Gold. He was flawless. He stomped the field.

Bode was unlucky - they are now saying that he hit a rock on the way down that crushed his edge and slowed him down: Otherwise, he wins, no doubt. Even with one destroyed ski he finished only a second 13 behind, most of it lost in the bottom portion of the race, where you would expect a damanged ski to slow you down the most; in the trainings, he was the fastest through the first few intermediates, and he was wearing a new ski that cruises threw the turns like no other (until the edge was destroyed)
