      I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

        yeah, what crap that competition was. The winner deserved it, and MAYBE Kass was also second, but not with those points.

        The judges had their own randomizer there, I mean it was total crap, like it is with FIS judges sometimes. The first round was all round loose shooting, while second round was super tight and no one got any points at all. Our number one gun, Autti himself thought he broke to maybe top 3, not first but top 3 with his last run. He got less than 40 points for that, and even the crowd booed, he was totally raped.

        There was two times when the crowd actually booed, which means BS BS because the crowd at those events is always cheerful, and the two times they disagreed totally was when Autti and Mattila had their second run, more so with Autti. I didn't see Mattila going for medals no matter what with is runs, but Autti got raped. Shaun White gave a great run with the first, he totally deserved his win, but I feel he should have gotten a good fight with Kass for the second, maybe he would have lost it, but not with that big of marginal.

        But it goes all ways, Koski got bronze, and his first run wasn't that good. You know, lots of people outperformed him in the second round, including Autti and few others, and yet he got bronze.

        What am I saying? It was total randomizer for judges going on. BS competition. Winner was clear though .

        Oh well, ski jumping is ahead, I want two medals from that, anything less means a bad day. And no I'm not an author, but I'm passionate about snowboarding and have been snowboarding from 94, that's 12 years, so I figure I have a touch of what's going on.

              Agreed.

              But about the TV.. there's nothing on that interests me, except maybe twice a year on average, an event such as the Olympics. It's just not worth it.

                  That's as maybe, but we've participated in more Olympic Games than Italy. I heard that's what really counts.

                  Plus we got a medal in curling once.

                        On italian tv we have Belmondo (the girl lighting the cauldron) as commentator of the whole nordic ski calendar- she just knew every kind of tactic they were using, just awesome

                        More neat stuff about her: she asked the italian crowd to cheer for canadian Beckie Scott during the next competitions, as Scott was awarded with the gold medal 1 year after Salt Lake games, where she ended up 3rd, after the winners, two russians, were disqualified for doping. Belmondo said she received as well medals wrapped in a plastic bag after the winners were disqualified, but she cannot imagine losing the joy of an olympic gold ceremony.

                        Belmondo never won an overall world cup, but lost 2 of them to athletes that were later found positive in anti-doping tests.

                          She's a legend Didn't she win overall in 1999?
                          She's almost a midget (150cm or something), so it's even more impressive what she has achieved.

                            I nearly died when Estil fell and broke his ski and got the worst start ever. But that just motivated him even more I guess. Most impressive and deserved silver medal I've ever seen.

                                Probably because most women are about as tough as a 13-14 year old boy, which is around the minimum recommended age to begin body checking in hockey.
