  • Barbarians sack things.

    • Mobs storm, seize and loot. Seldom do they 'sack', a term which is normally reserved for towns and cities in medieval times.

      If, say, the Japanese embassy in Korea was plundered and torched by a mob, who would use the word 'sack'? Nobody.
