Since when is it a bad thing to be a fan of your home team?

A team that missed the playoffs for six straight years...then snuck into the playoffs..then proceeded as an underdog to eliminate everyone else in the western conference...and then make it to game 7 of the stanley cup final...

It's a team with heart, and that's more than I can say about most Canucks and Oilers.
The one thing I've noticed is fans of lesser teams attack fans of better teams for being either a "homer" or a "bandwagonner", depending how long they've been fans.
If your teams had any chance in hell of making it to the finals again this year, you'd be a bit more supportive of them as well.
