    You want effort and passion from your team, and you dump on a guy who just showed you passion.

    Sounds to me like Sutter found a scape goat for his team's failings, and turned what could have been a very large positive into a very large negative.

        Disagree completely; Calgary plays a tough game but Sauve showed he just doesn't have the experience or temperment for the team.

          A goalie was punching out a Flame.

          It is unwritten rules that goalies fight goalies.

          Sutter ****ed up big time in his reaction to what was a good move by his goalie.

          Maybe Sutter doesn't like Frogs, or something, but his reaction to Suave standing up for his teammate is baffling.

          That is my opinion.

              Speaking of which, Vancouver just took back the Division lead with a 3-1 win over Calgary.

                  Err...Sauve is an American with French ancestry, and so is Boucher...

                  I don't think it's baffling at all. It was the straw that broke the camels back.

                  25 games in 49 days after the Olympic break...Kipper can't play them all, and Sauve was simply too green.

                    Well, the VAN/CGY game couldn't have gone much better for me...nothing from Naslund for Kontiki and I made the right guess in benching Kipper, whose off-night would've only dragged my numbers down. The only thing I missed out on was some numbers from Ohlund - but I won't complain!

                    Nice one Canucks!

                    It's nice to see more balanced scoring across the lines this year.

                                Sauve didn't play hard. He pushed Aebisher around at the end of the game that was already lost. He was weak the other 59:30 of the game.
