That's pretty much spot on the EPP projection (among others). The real interesting story won't be until Quebec and Ontario results come in.

Yup-- while 8 for the Conservatives would be a disappointment, they were really only hoping for 10-12 and 15 seats was very very optimistic.

I think they still hope for 10-11 for the reasons you cite

In the one Quebec riding reporting so far, the conservative candidate is behind the Bloc by 200 only. I think they may have a lot of close calls which will not translate into seats.
