      yeah

I don't agree with them on everything. But I agree with them on a lot of things (more on doctrine then any other church out there), and consider myself one. And the seventh day (saturday) is definitely the proper day to worship on (the Sabbath).

The position of non Christians in heaven is left a little open, there is definitely some who beleive that mostly only SDAs are going, and others that think otherwise (I fall into the second camp). I think (almost) all think that nonChristians can enter heaven though.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Didnt have to crack it, its public domain. Pharisees and Sadducees to busy fighting each other to sue the Christians for copyright infringement, and we lost the exclusive rights.

I listened to 1.5 minutes of Phelps sermon from his site. I am now in need for some Jesus Saves by Slayer.

And once you start believing that God tortures, for all eternity, people who aren't Christians, you're on a slippery slope that leads straight to Phelps.
I'm a non-denominational Christian. I believe in God and the divinity of Jesus Christ. I just don't belong to any Christian denomination -- I have not been active in the one I was raised to be active in (Catholicism) since I was 17 years old.

So while I still have the same Christian belief in God and Jesus Christ, I refuse to believe that Jews and Muslims are condemnded to hell. The reason is because they essentially believe in the same God that Christians believe in.

As for those who have no faith in this same God, they have chosen that path themselves. I cannot foresee what will happen to their souls after they die, nor is it my place to judge what will happen to them. But if these non-believers are comdended to hell after their lives end, they will suffer that damnation based on their own choice in rejecting God. So don't label me or other Christians as cruel and callous, because it's God's decision, not us humans, on who gains salvation based on each person's belief.

But I can't say with absolute certainty that non-believers will be condemnded to hell as I have no divine, visionary powers. Of course, fundies like Robertson and Phelps think they have the power to judge people such as Sharon, or the twelve dead miners but to me, their words and actions are repugnant to the essential message of Jesus Christ.

And here we have another example where two Christians disagree.

Muslims believe in the same God that Christians believe in -- I would NOT see the same disaster in same light that Lonestar might see it.

Unless Lonestar was sarcastic in this quoted post.
