Who cares if private facilities can deliver the care that Canadians need? Only the dogmatic, and those who don't understand how the system operates currently, I suspect.

Assuming that private care will 'overcharge and underserve' due to the very nature of the private sector is a damn sight more retarded than thinking that a public sector monopoly, dominated by trade unions, will deliver [less than] the best, most efficient care.

No, because a private company has far more control over the quality and price it charges for a service than does the union working for a company.
