I am a bit confused, but that might be because I am use to the US system.

It is confusing to mix Westminster and other systems.
The principles are simple.
Under Westminster, Parliament is supreme. 'Constitutions' are usually Acts of Parliament. Parliament could pass a law excluding rights for all except Martians. There would be some protest, and it would be expected that courts would tie them up in knots for long enough to depose the Martian lovers in the next election. (The courts do still play a role). The election is guaranteed by boundaries on time of sitting of Parliament, and those boundaries are supervised by the Crown.
Under a Constitutional system, a document written at some past time, and amended from time time time by powers exceeding those of federal legislators, is the supreme law of the land.
Us crazy Canucks have adopted the best of both worlds! We have a supreme document and a supreme Parliament. there's some jousting from time to time as we grow into it.

Parliament may amend the Constitution as it applies to itself, as Parliament sees fit. And future Parliaments may change everything back, or make it different again.
What is so hard to understand?
The part where you said:
As a matter of fact, I'm not sure a reversal would even require seperate legislation.

The legislation could contain the amendment reversing Martin's amendment.
'Martin was full of pooh. Therefore we reverse his legislation of such and such a date amending the Constitution of Canada. We know best and we say we can use the NWS clause. So there!
We further consider the SCoC to be full of pooh in the matter of red vs blue and therefore declare that the CHA shall remain in force for the next five years NWS the CoRF.'
Et voila, amendment and NWS in the same bill. Why not? It is within the power of Parliament by the Constitution.

to me the biggest thing going on the Canada right now is that the liberals are very corrupt, probably from being in power too long
so I would probably do anything I could to put someone else in power... or vote my positions...

(depending...)
(right now I would vote for almost anyone to take the current US admin out of power)
