AFAIK, there hasn't been any so far, although the terrorists are certainly in a festive mood:

Palestinian groups in Gaza Strip watching news regarding Sharon's deteriorating health carefully, will apparently celebrate with Qassam rocket firings at Jewish towns if PM dies. Terrorist: We will target Olmert with a lot of might

    And here's another idiotic reaction:

Does Bibi have more of plan for getting to the end than Kadima does? Does "middle Israel" think the status quo on the West Bank can and should
be maintained forever? That 10 or 15 more years of the status quo will result in a more moderate Pal leadership?

"Middle Israel" doesnt think too much and agrees with unilateral withdrawals only when they are already decided upon. We already had a centrist leader running with such a platform and that guy is now the acting mayor of Yeruham.

Even if Kadima survives the next few weeks and gets itself a leader, they will not offer additional unilateral withdrawals, at most they'll talk in cryptic centrist slogans about stuff such as "painful concessions in exchange for peace", etc, while the Labor and the Likud will be using a more leftist and rightist language.

In short, a platform of unilateral withdrawals will fail miserably. Unfortunately.
we'll see. Did Merkaz under Roni Milo ever poll like this?

            Wezil,

You can find *******s everywhere. The picture of the smiling children with "Die Sharon" signs unnerves me, though.

I was talking about Amram Mitzna, and this poll says nothing. People answer Kadima out of empathy for Sharon.

Wait a week for the news to set in and you'll see the numbers falling drastically.

I would just point out that I wouldn't put too much faith in polls right now. There probably hasn't been enough time to conduct a solid poll, and I would think the news is too recent for many people to have fully digested it yet.

Still, this looks like good news for Kadima.

My impression was that Mitzna was NOT a unilateral withdrawl guy - he was for talking to Arafat at a time when most everyone else had concluded there was no point in talking to Arafat. And that that was the difference between Mitzna and Ramon.

theres plenty of room for Kadima to fall and still be the strongest secular 3rd party in Israel in decades.

Actually, Winston stated that such a statement was correct, and questioned those who thought it grotesque or bigoted.

Wrong. I never uttered anything as to whether it was correct or not.

I questioned whether it was anti-Arab. The "grotesque, bigotted"-comments came later, though I didn't address them...

I don't know why you have such a hard time grasping this. Oh wait, I do. Sorry.
