Really, dude, get a grip. You're gonna need it after this season is done and you discover the Flames are slightly less of the Stanley Cup champions you imagine them to be.

I mean, they are tied with the Oilers... a team with more kids than vets and a goaltending situation right out of a B movie.

We're not tied with the Oilers, we have the same points but we're ranked above. Oilers have 1 more GP than the Flames and 1 more loss. They are in 3rd, behind Calgary.

And you need to get a grip yourself about this whole thing about "more kids than vets" schtik you won't shut up about.

He was missing his front teeth, they were knocked out. They weren't real teeth, those were knocked out in early November.

I'm whining that you keep mentioning that you have "more kids than vets", which is patently untrue, and you have actually more vets than the Flames do.

As for "kids" playing key roles, Phaneuf was getting 20-30 minutes of ice time in the opening months of his first NHL season...when he was 20 years old, 2 years younger than the youngest Oiler.

I think it's a lot of hot air from a guy desperate for excuses.

The Oilers won tonight, but it was a very close game, and a very good game. It'll be their last victory, you goaded the Flames out of their defensive style and dictated the flow of the game. That won't happen again.

Bergeron is in his third season.

The Oil look to be par for the course in terms of age and age distribution. The problem is you're getting older. I don't know why you keep bringing this up, it's irrelevant. That's all my point is.

Desperate for excuses?

Your team are the heir apparents to Lord Stanley's mug, and you carry on like it, and you just lost to a minor league goalie who got pulled, and an older one who wasn't trusted to start against a good team (Vancouver) and then a tough team (Calgary).

The reliance on people who aren't too long in the league.

The problem isn't that the Oilers are getting older. It's that we have to wait till next season til more key parts of the team have another year of experience.

You have no chance. Ottawa walks all ove ryou and we beat Ottawa.

Calgary is 4-0-1 versus Eastern teams. Montreal is near the bottom of the pack of the Eastern teams.
