    not really...

but then it shouldn't be too much to expect the england manager to act (for once in his life) with a little integrity.

Yep, they could have stitched him up in August. Tw@ts!

It'll be far longer than that before even Channel 5 start showing Swiss football.

Well, I ordered world cup tickets in the last sales window. the drawing is on the 31st. I have a 1 in 24 chance of winning the lottery for the 13 - 6- 06 match in Stuttgart. France v. Switzerland.

Im so excited, I can barely sleep.

Who has done well or poorly in the transfer window so far?

Arsenal signed Theo Walcott on a transfer from Southampton today. Will he or other Arsenal signees (Emmanuel Abedayor and Abo Diaby) have any appreciable impact?

I would guess that Walcott doesn't play regularly for a couple years? Is he Wayne Rooney minus the attitude, or is he another Jermaine Pennant?

i've seen him play for saints a couple of times, he's lightning quick and has tons of skill. training and playing with the likes of henry won't do him any harm either of course he's still very young and has only played 20 odd games so there are no guarantees, but the signs are very encouraging.

diaby is touted as the next viera. only seen him a few times but he looks someone who can add some much needed steel to our midfield. haven't seen much of abedayor tbh.

Every black midfielder over 6 foot is touted as "the next Viera", we've got one at Liverpool.....

                    • Amdy Faye is not the next Vieira.

Just thought I'd make that clear.

                      • Well, Freddy Adu became the youngest american ever to play for the national team. He entered the game in the 81st minute, and by the 85th, had also become the youngest US player to recieve a yellow card in international play. He was booked for diving.

                        This guy blows chunks.

                        And he's at least 19.

                              • We recently changed manager (too), and while I'll never admit to it in public and hope no Dutchie ever finds out, I was hoping it was going to be Hiddink.
