  • I totally agree. Villa deserved a point at the very least. Thank our lucky stars for our actually being lucky for once, and for Shay Given - yet again our finest player.

The only bad thing about this is, if Newcastle actually had a defense, he wouldn't need to work so hard.

      • We don't bloody need one any more!
Although it would be nice to have someone else who could tackle at the back to support Peter Ramage's efforts.

no surprises there, you dont have a decade of dominance by bringing in subpar players.

Half of the players on their first team don't look so hot.

            • Yeah, but the decade of Dominance ended a few years ago. Now they are merely "A Good Team"...

manc = Manchester City, not Manchester United...

The MLS owns every player's contract in order to control player spending and share revenues. Each team won't be able to sign players to contracts until 1) every team has a specific, seperate owner; and 2) when there is enough interest in the US in the league to allow it.

                          • there is a 90% chance that there will be a world cup warm up here in Geneva, switzerland - italie, at the end of may and also Brazil might come here on the 3rd or 4thof juin to play another warm up game. Tomorrow is the last selling period of tickets (first come first serve) and if I dont get world cup tix, Im getting them for sure. (or at least try)

                            • Congratulations to Liverpool for beating Arsenal. Although they took long enough to do it.

I know he's rubbish, but why don't they play Cisse with Fowler. He's better than Nando, and he's got pace - which Fowler doesn't any more.
