It was an explosion, things tend to not be very uniform in explosions for some reason. It's like the way you can find uncharred bits of paper remains after setting off a firecracker even though much of the fire cracker is converted to ash.

In the case of the exploding planes hitting the WTC, you can actaully see a cloud of non burning debris thrown away from the explosion in footage of the impact. It makes sense that a dense heavy item like the blackbox would get carried by it's forward momentum into the building while many light easily lofted items would have been immediately blasted clear of the fireball.

The passport would have been on the hijackers person. Very unlikely that it wouldn't have burned up with him. The papers that were thrown out of the building when the plane hit would have been office papers. But let's say you are right. How would you go about finding a lone passport (the next day iirc) in several acres of rubble? Oh yes, that's right, magical serendipity!

This is on a different note, but related. Would someone explain to me how the jet fuel which would have burned up completely almost instantly was responsible for the temperatures necessary for the theory that the fire brought down the towers. Keep in mind that these are the only skyscrapers to ever have collapsed as the result of a fire in history. And yeah I know they were hit by large jets, but the buildings survived the initial impacts quite well.

This is one of the best Poly-esque threads I've seen in awhile.

Poster A: "I say that thus-and-such is true, and I have a flash movie to support my position!"

Poster B: "I say that thus-and-such is false, and I have a link to support my position!"

Poster A: "Only a complete moron would disagree with me, and I don't argue with complete morons. "

Oh, really? So according your logic Ferrary traveling at 200mph looks pretty much the same as heavy truck traveling at the same speed?
Leaving aside all wreckage inaccuracies, the thing which hits Pentagon on this video is certainly MUCH smaller than Boeing. And it flew PARALLEL to the ground.
                    Do you realize that :
                    a) Boeing it's a heavy plane and it needs ****load of space for such maneouvres? I really don't think there was enough of empty space around the Pentagon for Boeing to low down, make its nose parallel to the horizon and hit the building at zero angle. Boeing do not possess the maneuverability of jet-fighter or cruise missile.

                    b) when such big plane as Boeing goes down it makes ****load of noise? That noise is VERY LOUD and usually drives people's attention and therefore there should be thousands of eyewitneses of the impact?

It does if it bounces off the ground.

Not if the plane stalls (as it wil) when decending that quickly. The engines will cut out.

Oh, boy. WE HAVE A VIDEO EVIDENCE HERE. When plane bounces off the ground it doesn't fly like this - not so high, not so fast, and doesn't shrink in size.
Besides, where is the site of the initial impact then? The grass near the building magically survived.

Bullsh!t. Such heavy plane as Boeing cannot perform a landing manoeuvre and hit the building at zero angle with its engines being completely cut out. Not to mention that there was no enough free space for such manoeuvre (ok, it's only my guess, I don't have a map of the area, but something tells me there should be buildings and other obstacles somewhere in 1 km radius around the Pentagon). And not to mention the qualification of the pilots was pretty low at best, since they never flew Boeing before.

Doesn't seem like the grass magically survived LOOK! PICTORIAL EVIDENCE!

Like I said, it didn't fly laterallyt for a period of time. The investigation suggests that it bounced on the lawn and helipad infront:

The plane banked sharply and came in so low that it clipped light poles. It slammed into the side of the Pentagon at an estimated 350 miles per hour after first hitting the helipad. The plane penetrated the outer three rings of the building.

                                I can't see it.
