I'm more interested in why the wife let him go off his meds.

I only briefly heard this new bit of information while flipping channels. My first guess is she didn't know/realize until it was too late.

Edit: Oh, and having the passengers confirm that he said he had a bomb goes to coroborating the authorities' version of events. If none of them heard him say such a thing, then obviously something's amiss in the official story.

A very dear..friend has it affecting most of her family.
Her brother went off meds. Shot his wife twice with a shotgun, then blew his head off. Mark wasn't bad, but he was off his meds.

Of course, we can't discriminate on skin colour, so they have to shoot white looking people just to be fair AND search me in airports. I think I get searched often as I'm clean and don't smell...

Sounds offensive, I know but if security blokes followed it we wouldn't have had the de Menezes incident et al. Britain got a slappin' over THAT incident, but we had another at an airport where a man charged past security, in that case he was a nutter, but they used non-lethal methods - result he lived, no-one harmed.

Alpizar (the man shot) looks from his photo to be white, not in any way Somali or Arabic, they should of perhaps used greater restraint in the application of their powers. They had the 'right' to do what they did, but it wasn't the right decision and it could have been if people had just used their noodles, don't a little profiling...non-PC etc, oh my.

Also, do terrorists shout out that they've got a bomb?

Supposedly the guy was bi-polar and he stopped taking his meds while on vacation. A doctor was on the radio and said that many people have severe reactions if they suddenly go cold turkey on their meds. It appears to be what occured with this guy.
