UPDATE: Air marshals shoot would-be bomber

A weapon was fired on an American Airlines plane as it was on the runway at Miami International Airport on Wednesday, authorities confirmed.
The weapon was apparently fired by a federal air marshal on board the plane, which was on a stopover during a flight from Medellin, Colombia, to Orlando, Florida, police said.
UPDATE (1:54 p.m.): Fox reports multiple shots and one injury:
Shots were fired Wednesday on board an American Airlines jet that had landed at Miami International Airport, and at least one person was wounded, according to broadcast reports.
UPDATE (1:57 p.m.): The local CBS affiliate says two air marshals were involved:
Two federal air marshals onboard an American Airlines flight scheduled to arrive in Orlando, Fla., Wednesday afternoon opened fire on a suspicious passenger, according to Local 6 News.
Miami-Dade Fire-Rescue told WPLG-TV that one person was shot inside a grounded plane on concourse D at the Miami International Airport. At least one person was injured on the flight.
UPDATE (2:00 p.m.): NBC says a passenger claimed to have a bomb. So the cops shot him:
The suspect, a passenger, claimed he had a bomb and started to get off the plane, and air marshals went after him, sources told NBC News.
The man then turned around, started after the air marshals and shots were fired.
UPDATE (2:02 p.m.): A Florida NBC affiliate says the guy made it off the plane:
Shots were fired on the jet bridge of an American Airlines plane at Miami International Airport. The flight, American Airlines 924, originated in Colombia and was headed to Orlando.
There is no information on injuries.
According to government sources, the suspect on board claimed he had a bomb. He tried to get off the plane and Air Marshals went after him. The suspect allegedly turned around and started after the Air Marshals.
