Ok Whaleboy,
I'll give you some prophecies. There are TONS of prophecies that your Messiah Jesus Christ has fulfilled. Here are just a few, we'll discuss a few at a time. First, from Psalm 2, written by your own King David hundreds of years before Jesus Christ:
"1 Why do the heathen rage, F3 and the people imagine a vain thing? 2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex F4 them in his sore displeasure. 6 Yet have I set F5 my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
7 I will declare the decree: F6 the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him." (Psalm 2)
Notice it predicts Jesus' successful triumph over the nations as their Lord (which is basically fulfilled, all the nations have heard of the Lord and the greatest have believed). It also states that he is begotten of God Himself, the Son of God. Notice that all the Kings must submit to the Great King Jesus Christ.
For the second prophecy, how about your own prophet Isaiah, who says that your Messiah will not just be a man as your jews thought, but that HE'LL BE GOD HIMSELF:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
There are two kinds of prophecies. Some are just prophecies, like the ones above. There is another kind of prophecy called a "type". A type is a symbol of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, written hundreds of years before His birth. If you will look earlier in the thread you'll see types of the declaration of the gospel (Sword of Gideon in Judges), and the type of Joseph representing Christ (Joseph was rejected by Judah and the 11 brothers of Israel, thrown into a pit, then delivered to the Gentiles and became Lord of the Gentiles in Egypt and delivered them from starvation). Does this not remind you of the Jews rejecting their brother Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ being thrown into a pit, and then being delivered to the Gentiles to be their LORD, and delivering us from spiritual starvation and eternal damnation? So you see there is a precise parallel between Joseph in Genesis and Christ.
THOSE ARE THREE PROPHECIES. I can give you many more. But we'll take a few at a time.
