From the article I got the pic from
Chinese Nationalists bought the Vickers Carden Loyd amphibious tank. 29 were purchased in 1935 and organized into the 1st tank battalion. The vehicle had a water-proof sheet-steel hull, with steel-sheathed floats attached. Steering was via a conical cylinder around the propeller, moved by a connection to driver's steering levers.
