    Technically not a tank.

I doubt anyone of you will name these tanks:

Ah, that explains why the 76mm barrel looks so small. The bloody tank is HUGE

There was an American designer who invented several prototype tanks with a then revolutionary suspenion system in the 1930's. He tried to get the US & UK governments to buy some of his tanks but due to the depression those governments had slashed military spending and didn't buy any. The Germans bought a few to study but decided to go with their own suspenion design (which was marginally better though more complicated and difficult to manufacture) while Stalin just loved these tanks. He bought several dozen of them and had Soviet engineers reverse engineer the suspenion system and soon nearly all Soviet built tanks were using the same basic suspenion system. The same basic design with a few modifications was used through the 1970's.

I found this one to be interesting. It is a Russian WW1 "tank" which was basically just a mortorized cannon platform but still good to see they were doing some original thinking. It was a three wheeled design with giant (27 foot tall) front wheels so it could power through mud like a tractor and a small third wheel to provide stability and manueverability.

It was called the Tsar Tank or the Lebedenko Tank.

The swedish flag gave it away. Yup, S-tank or Stridsvagn 103.
