Hmm... does seem harsh to me, but lets put this in perspecitive.... she probably got 5 years for the sex parties, and 25 for the drugs... yep that's how the good ol' USA works.

You know my BF had he confessed to stealing the money for drug use, they would have added a 10 year sentence to his possible 5 year max. Don'tya love this country?

      No.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

Not too sure why it's the countries fault because you're dating a thief... mind explaining that logic?

Tobacco is more addictive than heroine. Fact.

Less than 5% of American soldiers who were regular heroine users in Vietnam kept doing it when they came back to America. Fact.

Oncle Boris: The word heroin appears no where in the post you quoted. Fact.

Berz, quit being an idiot. Meth and crack is dangerous sh*t. Marijuana, if used right, is no more harmful than alcohol. Meth and cocaine are in a whole 'nother league.

Yay semantics: It's not flawed. " " indicates that the noun, the subject, performs the action described by the verb regularly - and doesn't necessarily mean that it's the only outcome, or that it does that all the time, etc.
Accuracy is not semantics, "cancer kills" is not accurate, "cancer can kill" is. Replace cancer with guns, cars, or processed sugar (in the hands of humans), and you will see accuracy is not a sin.

Then what are you doing in the thread sniping at me? Crystal meth can be dangerous for some people, it wasn't for me or for many other people. But if we tell that truth, you get upset because it doesn't jive with your false perception. In your effort to avoid appearing retarded, you've exposed a serious character flaw.

Now at least we can explain Berz.
You and Dino sharing talking points? But do tell, what does it explain? Sadly, I know what it explains about you...

Locking up someone for 30 years for suffering from a mental illness is ridiculous, particularly when people were lining up to be victims of her crimes.
                    Yup

I "survived" both, kinda dishonest for me to agree with your generalisations.

Then you should have no problem at all refuting my arguments.

A BP2, like most depressives, is responsible for their actions like anybody else. Except that I don't agree that bipolar people are responsible for their actions. Hell, I don't believe most people are responsible for most of their actions since "responsibility" is a bull**** and ill defined term to start with.

I've known bipolar people. It's not fun to be one.
