I'm sure there are, ahem, other ways to that if those are your real goals.

Go to the club or get on some internet dating sites if you are looking for that kinda thing.

One of my boys thinks he is terrible with women but uses AOL (LOL!!!!!!) to meet girls for those sort of *ahem* adult encounters, usually on a weekly basis.

But don't tug on the poor girl A's heart strings if she is looking for something long term with you.

Well, it's not my "real goal". I often say that sort of thing jokingly, but sadly, I am an emo kid at heart. I want to have a relationship, but I'd rather have it with a girl I am already falling for, than to have it with a girl I may or may not get these feelings for. In that case it's clear what the moral choice is. It's the existance of the boyfriend that messes things up ( to say the least )

Aye there should be some automatic back off once you find out that a certain interest has a significant other already.

Its definitely not a nice way to start the relationship for starters. It doesn't say much about her stickability if she'll jump for the next best thing to come along on the guy chain.

Not too mention all the stress you'll put the guy through if he knows. (trust me I know about this, its stressful as hell) Not to mention the casual risk that the guy will flip and lay you out (if he can)

You can still be friends with her but stay your distance.

Maybe later she'll not be with him, but I wouldn't hope for it or try and push it.

I've seen friends get together many times after both were free.

You don't need a girlfriend, you need meds.

Push it? heavens no. As UR said, I wouldn't like that to happen to me, right? But I will be waiting. Playing my position - but not from close - since I might then fall in the "close friend" zone.

Meanwhile - I'll go out with girl A. Maybe girl A will turn out to be just awesome - and I'll forget about B. If not, then the relationship wouldn't last anyway.

Man, I feel like I am bending my morals big time, anyhow. Why can't I be like 'Homeboy', and just stumble upon the girl of my dreams, who'll also be available.

I've stumbled upon the girl of my dreams.

Too bad I was drunk at the time.

just kidding I don't even drink

Az, Dude, you'll stop thinking of B when you get it on with A good enough. I mean, if you really start liking A and you develop a meaningful relationship, B is not your worry anymore, and is it immoral, hell no. Excuse me but most men still fantasize about other girls, married or not. But it stays in the fantasy level. That's OK. what are you, a thought police?!??! wtf!!

Get on with it Az. Send her yourself in that package we talked about earlier.
