And I don't think we were "lucky" to grab him, Sutter worked with him in SJ before he came to Calgary and saw what other teams were too stupid to see, and got him for what...a 5th round draft pick?

That and David Marcoux is a God.

Team building is part of what makes a great team.

Sutter is the guy who got Kipper, and he's also the coach. It's part of the team, and it's part of the plan.

It has nothing to do with "luck" -- what's luck is MacTavish's growing stupidity and ineptitude with goaltenders. He doesn't understand the importance of confidence and morale, and Edmonton pays for it regularly.

Coincidentally, Sutter and Marcoux both focus very heavily on confidence and morale and mental toughness with their goaltending. Where Kipper cooly lifts up his goalie mask and takes a drink after a goal, Markkanen smacks his stick against the post...

(Lecavalier has 0 points in the past 4 games and the past couple games Cujo has had ~97% svp... I still remember nye saying it wasn't a good trade )

Great I was leading 3-2 up until Saturday. I tried to bench all my goalies throughout the week, but I guess the change didn't take.
