BTW, this thread made me curious about the glorious royal family in France. I've dredged wikipedia androyalist sites to see how the heck the "King of France" is doing these days.
And the Royalists, despite representing 0.035% of the population still manage to be divided about which successur they back"I have been reading up on the universe and have come to the conclusion that the universe is a good thing." -- Dissident

The danish royal family is actually quite non inbreed, and parasites ? Well, they are both economically and politcally worth their money.
What is it with you Danes and your crypto-fascist love of authority?Only feebs vote.

It's a boy!
The Crown Princess gave birth to a baby boy, weighing 3,500 g and measuring 51 cm, at 01:57 CET Saturday morning.
The delivery went 'uncomplicated' and both mother and child are doing well.
The newborn, who will in all likelihood be known as Prince Christian, is second in line to the Danish throne after his father Crown Prince Frederik. When the new prince ascends to the throne in the future, it will likely be as King Christian XI.
Congratulations to everybody.

Are you sure he doesn't mean his princely sceptre ?

If you want, Winston, you can have our royal family. They are a bunch of throwbacks too.
I'll happily congratulate the couple with their newborn though"post reported"Winston, on the barricades for freedom of speech

Ah, thank you molly. So far that's about the closest we've come to any kind of praise from a foreigner in this thread.
I like the Danes and Denmark.
I don't mind royalty per se- and the Danish royals are much more like 'le roi bourgeois' than Mad King Ludwig, anyway.
Given the choice between bourgeois monarchs and say, a presidential Thatcher or Reagan or Daniel Arap Moi or Dear Leader or Enver Hoxha, then I'd settle for the monarchs as being the least harmful option.
