How do you follow the games then? Ceefax doesn't have descriptions, and the updates they have in the bottom of the screen showing cross-country running (or whatever ) are ages late.

On BBCi with the "Red Button" on digital, honestly, how old are you?

If you have digital freeview you then you can watch soccer saturday on Sky Sports News, it's infinitely superior to the BBC version even with the adverts.

Whats so great about Jeff Sterling? All the Sky presenters are smarmy gits who laugh at their own jokes. Its the same on Sky Sports News, in between the lame laughs from clips and endless inside jokes, in an hour you get about 10 minutes of real news.

Plus the BBC is less London-centric compared to any Sky channel.

He's intelligent, extremely knowledgable and funny. Ray Stubbs is so bad as a presenter though most people would pwn him. But Jeff Stelling is probably the best football presenter currently working in TV.


Other than Jeff, it's on longer, you get better build up before the games and goals after the games (not sure if you get that on the sky news version or just on the sky sports on though).





And yeah, like anyone cares about anything outside London!
