  • Yeah, should bring a smile to his face.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

Doesn't seem terribly young either though.

I hope he does not suffer

No, but there aren't many proven top level managers, most of them are unavailable and he is both good and available. So therefore not a bad choice.

Martin O'Neil would be a better choice IMO. But I'm not sure if his personal situation allows a return to football yet. (He left Celtic because his wife was very ill)

Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy.

                        • I just hope the minutes silence gets observed at the Man City - Liverpool game tomorrow, they arn't the two teams most enamored of ManU.

                          Fingers crossed!

                          • I'm sure it will. No crowds have a problem with retired players, unless they return managing rival teams.

                            • Well, I was wrong. The City fans behaved impeccably, but some idiots in the Liverpool end were soundly booed by everyone else in the ground after the minute was up. Something similar happened with Leeds "fans" choosing that time to rehearse their "We hate Man U" chants.

                              • It was a shame, but as Garth Crooks just said, what would Best have done - just shrugged his shoulders at them.

BTW i cant believe theyve got Paul Durkin (EPL referee) on the panel commenting on the matches.
