Nixon lost in 1960 yet made a comback in 1968 so why not Gore? It's been pretty much proven that Gore actually won in 2000 but the Supreme Court played politics and choose a winner based upon party loyality. It really is disgusting how political the lot of them were when it came down to it.

I would vote for Senator Clinton, but not because I like her or her politics or I think she would make a better President than whatever creep the Republicans run. The fact that people are already talking about the next President before Bush even started his 2nd term, says alot about how bad people think he sucks, and how they need a savior.

I've already spoke of my support for Hillary. Gore would be a good choice as well, but Hillary would probably get more done.

I see a lot of she would be a horrible president, but I don't see a lot of reasons why, or any for that matter. It seems the biggest objections to her are the result of the viscious anti-Clinton campaign the Republicans have engaged in since the 1992 elections. Frankly, anyone who scares the Republicans this much has got to be good.

Admiral: Wes Clark is hardly a "centrist" that the left dislikes. On the contrary, he is quite popular with the kossack crowd.

Voting for Hillary in the primary would be based on who else was running. I'd prefer Gore, Clark, Warner and Feingold to her. But I'd prefer her over Biden, Kerry, Lieberman, Vilsack, and some others who are floating rumors of running. In fact, I'd reconsider Feingold, as I think Hillary is probably the only electable Senator.

And I do think she's electable. The wingnut hate machine didn't take down Bill, and it didn't stop Hillary from romping over Lazio in a year that wasn't kind to Democrats. She's won over a lot of NY Republicans, so I think she can do the same nationwide.
