    Another quote

"I would vote for Osama bin Laden before I would vote for Hillary. At least he is against abortion and gay marriage."

For a while it was infested with Hillary hate threads (even a thread with more than 450 posts), but now it is full of Sheehan hate threads (who btw is catholic).

I admit to being a little pathetic, because I enjoy long dems vs republicans threads, trying to understand your country.

Being a good candidate and having a well-run campaign are two very separate things.

However, the poorly run campaign falls solely at Gore's feet. He realized his campaign was going badly and brought in new management, which was none better. He doesn't seem to have the balls to hire a Carville type.

I'm not sure what having balls has to do with it.

Simple miscalculation is all and on top of that Rove is the equivalent of a dirty fighter that throws sand in your face so he was clearly outmatched from the start.

What do you think Carville is? Gore fired his previous management and went with another play nice manager. By then he HAD to know what he was up against. Instead of having the balls to get a Carville, who'll get down in the muck and fight dirty with dirty, he tried to be 'above it all', which killed him.

There is an appeals process but it takes months to complete and the registrar doesn't have to inform people when their name has been removed from voter rolls. Most of these people didn't know they were removed and the appeals process was so long it insured none of them could have their votes counted dispite legally having the right to vote.

How is that not organized electorial fraud?
Just one thing you forgot. The Demo control every election board in Fl. So it was the Demo who did themself in.

You may not believe this, but at one time I was just like you are now. I believed the Demorcratic party could do no wrong. I missed out voting for LBJ because of age. The election was in Nov and I did not turn 21 until the next March. (You had be 21 in my day). Then I voted for and supported H.H. Humphrey in 68 but Nixon won. I was so p!ssed I got sick. But than Nixon did something for Federal Employee that to this day has never been done again. He gave up a $0.10 an hour pay increase and then gave us a 11.9% cost of living increase and the next year gave us 9.8% cost of living increase. When Nixon ran in 72, I voted for him. Than came Carter, and I voted for Carter and he put a cap on our pay at 2 and 3% when inflation was running at 11 to 13% and told us they would pay up later. Well this is later and we have never received our lost pay. I supported Regan but never did vote for him. One reason he froze our pay for 2 years. So he is not so great in my book. Voted for Bush SR both times and voted for Bush Jr, but I would not vote for him again.
I was a register Demo from my 21st birthday until Oct of 98. I register with the Rep, but do not support many of their Congress people. How I wish I could be an American and just vote for the person that I like and not be in any party.
In one party you got the Right wing who I could care less about and the other Party you have left winger who like to KILL UNBORN children, take away my right have a gun, hate the military, raise taxes to pay for all of their little programs.
I do not support either party. I just have to be in one so I can vote.

She could only certified the election, but did not control the counties election boards. If you voted, you would know that.

                        • Rumor has it Hillary supports lowering the voting age. One of these days I'll get around to talking to her office about it.

If she even remotely makes it an issue or speaks positively about it on the campaign trail she's got my vote for sure. Hell I'll volunteer for her.

You are talking about the dimple and pimple that a maching would never count.
In Calif, we had those cards and each card if you read the instruction stated no hanging chad or your vote would not be counted.
It was the New York Times, LA times, Washing Post, and the Miami papers that counted the votes and said Bush won.

And yes they did count them the way the demo wanted them counted and yes Gore won by 400 and some. But remember they counted the dimple, if 2 vote where punch and one was for Gore, even if there was mark next Gore they counted it.

Speculation on your part. We don't know why Gore picked his campaign managers or even his rationale behind it, and even if' "above it all" was even on his mind. We don't even know if Carville, or even someone like him, was even available at that time.

Carville got Clinton elected by running a great campaign, whatever dirty tricks he may have pulled, they weren't on the same scale as the race to the bottom crap that Rove pulls off. Burning down the damn villiage to elect the Chief.

Rove gets the entire nation divided by doing stupid sh1t like getting everyone afraid of gay people and terrorists, and running the whole bigot line.

That's the difference. They aren't even close.

And besides, Dean, the guy everyone thinks has "balls," hired one of Gore's former campaign managers to lead his Presidential bid after Trippi wasn't getting the job done.

That has nothing to do with the purging of the voter rolls, which was done by an independent (and heavily Republican-affiliated) private company contracted by Jeb Bush. Fancy that.
