Wrong. I knew that if I wasn't to pull that one, someone else would. PH would have been my first guess, then BG

That wasn't funny, either. Quit validating the stereotype.

You're no fun nor tease tonight, Boris.

Gibsie, make that which raw veg that you can actually affordas a student

Honestly, most vegetables that I see in supermarkets are just way too expensive to get them fresh. If you get them frozen, do they have the same effect as a part of your nutrition?

If you want to gain muscle, be willing to gain a bit of fat too. Then cut the fat afterwards.

DO NOT cut out cardio, but make sure you eat enough to take account of the calories lost while doing it. You don't want to be losing muscle, but you don't want to lose fitness either while getting fat.

Fair enough, I do full-body workouts. Always found them very useful and progress soundly with them.

2 sets of flat dumbell press (28kg/62lb each)
3 sets of bent-over dumbell row (30kg/66lb each)
2 sets of incline dumbell press (24kg/53lb each)
              3 sets of pull-ups (bodyweight minus 10kg/22lb )
3 sets of leg press (150-170kg/330-375lb)
2 sets of dips (bodyweight plus 15kg/33lb)
              Farmer's walk to finish off..

i have finally started going to my gym......

i have been working at a fitness centre for 5 years, in the swimming department, and before that i was a regular attendee their doing squad training and stuff for 5 years prior......

and in all that time i think i used the gym twice.....

and considering that i actually get it for free as a staff member for the last 5 years.....

i have never known where to start...then i found out, that as staff we also get free fitness assessments and programmes.....

so now i have finally started .....Yay....

my fitness trainer told me though, that i didnt want to lose weight so much...i just needed to tone it.....

well i hope toning will reduce my stomach, coz i dont wanna have a fat gut sticking out oof my wedding dress in about a years time or so (not engaged yet, though plan to be soon - just waiting for him to ask my dad...lol)

I usually down a cold beer in the sauna after a heavy work-out. It's not better than sex but it's a close second.

Gyms that cost to much are rubbish. In reality you are paying for a nice floor and to look at trendy hot chicks between sets. For most users all that is needed is a basic gym with showers, dressing room, a good selection of free weights, a few machines, and lastly and most lacking of all. Proper instruction!
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

Yeah, I've never felt remotely tempted to go to the gym...I'd rather go for a swim or a walk...
