Why did a united Scandinavia not form?

I thought it was a terrific film.

I used to see more Scandinavian films in Australia, though, on S.B.S.- lots of excellent modern thrillers, horror films and so on.

Back in the U.K. it's mostly tedious British and American films that have been on what seems like 350 times before.

There's only about 60k SamÃ, over half of which in Norway. They're just too few to make much of an impact.

Actually, in Norway we had kind of this mild version of genocide of Gypsies and "Travellers" going on up until the 1970s, but that's for another thread.

That's why we're lowering the tax on booze.

(Seriously. We're lowering the tax on vodka, keeping it on beer, and increasing it on cider. This is supposed to make teens drink less alcohol.)

I'm all for a united Scandinavia as long as the Danes get to decide the alcohol laws.

Oh and we should make Finnish the official language just for the heck of it.
