According to the ARD likely Struck will be foreign affairs minister, since the Union gets defense. It would be a good choice, I'd prefer Struck over a lot of the other dumbasses.

Now who takes the "hot iron" called ministry of finances, that's the question... (die arme Sau!)

Steinbrück would be a likely outcome: He has been ministry of finance in Schleswig-Holstein and NRW and Clement has announced that he won't be in the next gouvernement. Since the SPD needs someone from NRW in a leading position, he could be Eichel's successor.

Poor Steinbrück. The last three finance ministers weren't in an envyable position; one deserted after a few months (Lafontaine) and two turned from respected politicians into laughing stocks - Waigel (Herr der Löcher / Lord of the holes), and Eichel.
