No, you first. Everyone has to begin somewhere, so now's your chance.

By the way, where did I

        dismiss them
        ?

I've simply suggested a way they could garner some more support from people who share some of their ideas on capital and corporal punishment.

        That's a rebranding suggestion, not a dismissal.

nah labour has got a lot of the muslim vote sewn up already, whether they like it or not.

He criticised the government's insistence that the current postal voting system was working, adding: "Anybody who has sat through the case I have just tried and listened to evidence of electoral fraud that would disgrace a banana republic would find this statement surprising."

Mr Mawrey had heard petitions lodged against six Labour councillors, who all strenuously deny that they abused the postal ballot system

I hate to say it, but Molly does actually have a point here, and not just on the fringes of party and faith. I've read comments on a Tory blog saying they would rather people were Muslim than atheist, and a Spectator article sided with Muslims 'exasperated' at western depravity and decadence.

Gervaise Brooke-Hampster appears to be mounting an impressive grassroots push for the leadership. Fresh off winning the "Upperclass Twit of the Year" award, he could be a dark horse in this election battle..

                      Latest news-

Davis and Cameron are pooh-poohing suggestions that Clarke would be the popular choice with the wider electorate (and we all laughed).

Clarke is trying to convince people that he isn't really pro-Europe (and we all laughed).

Rifkind is attempting to inject some momentum into his bid by embarking on a nationwide tour (and we all laughed).

Fox is snapping up all the spin doctors he can find to run his campaign (and we all retched).

Meanwhile, Michael Ashcroft is among the Tory grandees criticising the proposed selections scheme for being undemocratic. This places him squarely at odds with Michael Howard. They're splitting again.

Latest betting: David Davis 8/13, Ken Clarke 5/2, David Cameron 11/2, Liam Fox 20/1, Malcolm Rifkind 33/1

why is that so terrible? Id say from the point of view of the Jewish religion, for ex, it would be true that gentiles should be muslims rather than atheists.

Muslim != terrorist. Or even terrorist sympathizer, necessarily.

I would prefer people to be muslim or jewish over most other religions...

(in my opinion, broadly, the ammount of truth goes like this:
Adventist (still not all that great, but number one so far)
                          Other Protestants...
Catholics/Weird 'Protestants' (like Mormons) (Weird Protestants might be lower)
                          Jews
                          Muslims
getting pretty unknown down here.. I think I would rate religions like Bhuddism and the like as higher..
down at the bottom would be ones like the ancient Egyptian religions and the like)
