The big question to me is whether Alabama will win any of its 3 remaining games, given its truly pathetic offense.

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Once again, the last two spots are truly up for grabs from any number of one and two loss teams, and a certain three-loss team has a shot if they win out."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

VaTech is getting way overrated by you guys. They got beaten horribly. It really shows how week the ACC is."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

I mean, sure, the SEC is the best conference in college football, but the ACC has a claim to being in the next three with the Big 10 and Pac 10.
And VTech is a good team (look at the rest of their games). They just couldn't figure out Miami's defense.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. You guys are crazy for including in your top 5 a team that has scored one offensive touchdown in the last 3 games. I also note that Sagarin's ELO-CHESS system (what is reported to the BCS) moved ND from 19 to 14 this week. Once again this furthers my contention that the ELO-CHESS and Predictor rankings will converge as the season finishes up and that ND won't be treated too poorly by the BCS rankings.

Sagarin has them as the 5th best conference.
Which is absolutely foolish, IMO. This is a conference with 5 teams in the Top 15 in the AP poll. And the SEC is known for its defense. After all, neither LSU two years ago nor Auburn a year back was considered an offensive juggernaut like USC and Texas this year.

Let's put it this way. Notre Dame scored 27 offensive points at home against a team that held Alabama to 6 offensive points at home only 2 weeks before.
It is my view that the SEC's defenses are not in the same league as some of the Big Ten's defenses.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. True, but that was 'Bama's first game without their playmaker (Prothro), IIRC.
They'll figure it out as they go throughout the year. Though I'm not sure they beat Auburn or a Shockey led Georgia squad (which would have beaten Florida).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Time's running out for them to do this. Two weeks later, Alabama couldn't score an offensive touchdown against a 2-7 Mississippi State team. Sooner or later, Alabama's going to drop 2 or 4 in a row...I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter.
