but considering how whole Croatia looks nowadays, you can keep it :vomit:
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

here's another one. good thing you guys gave us the trondheim area back after 2 years, it would suck to be cut in two like that. still waiting for jemtland and bohus...
I think in the long term we got the better end of that deal...
BTW, did we own New Amsterdam and Surinam at the same time??
We did for a while, before the English wars.

wow, you even had Taiwan, part of New Zeland and some island in the north (I don;t know what for, though)
Oh, and I must find a map of dutch settlements in Major Poland.
Yeah, we had trading posts or small colonies in places few people know about. Japan, China, Spitsbergen (that's the island in the Arctic), we even had trading posts across the Middle East (this map doesn't even show all of them). Luxembourg was Dutch until about 100 years ago (and they couldn't even be arsed to pick a new flag when they finally became independent ).

That map is BS propaganda.
No it isn't. Herzel dreamed of a greater Israel compromising everything between the Suez and the Euphrates.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I remember a Dutch friend convincing me that England was kind of Dutch colony as well
Well, that's stretching the definition of 'colony' to a ridiculous extent But the Anglo-Saxons and the other Germanic tribes that invaded England after the fall of the Roman empire did of course come from continental Europe. Of all modern languages, Frisian (a Dutch dialect) is the language most similar to English (and Old English and Old Frisian are nearly identical).
