How about the negligent manslaughter of all those who survived hurricane - but died of drowning, heat stroke, thirst, disease, lack of medical supplies, being murdered during the anarchy etc...

    Where was America's Dunkirk Spirit!!?
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

      • Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

              • I think that a lot of politicians should lose their jobs over this

I know that the FEMA guy should, I think that some senators shuold also..

they were given power, authority, and responsibility...

and they did as little as me, who has been unemployed for 4 months..

                • maybe 200 or so buses there...

you have to fuel all of them get drivers, have routes planned, coordinate pick up locations, destinations, and do it nonstop for over 24 hours...

somehow, I just don't see it happening, even if you had a month to plan it and rehearse it...

                  • I know it's easier to play the blame-game and blame Bush for cancer, global warming, eating babies and stuff but isn't this a cockup for the LOCAL state and city officials?

It seems NO had plenty of transportation available that could have been used. I would rather want to know why those busses stood idle instead of playing the blame-game.
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

                    • there is no question that the city government in New Orleans messed up before the hurricane hit..

we aren't upset about Bush fro that, we are upset at him (And other governmental/federal leaders) for what has happened after the hurricane hit

no question that the city should have done things differently

hey!!! don't worry about this MAJOR **** UP over here!!! worry about this over **** up over here!!

sure, I place blame on the local officials... but not as much because they had neither the resources nor the manpower to do a damn thing.

But it's good to know so many people have low standards for the federal gov't.

Unfortunately, all America has left are raving right-wingers and drooling left-wingers. The extremes did a fine, Sith-like job of wiping out the moderate middle in their quest for absolute power.

Sorry, America. You're stuck with what you got. Idjits!

quite frankly, you'd have to be a drooling "idjit" to not be mad as hell at the state of the nation thanks to dear leader

                              • Actually, it's more that us moderates, with our calm, moderate viewpoints, aren't as interesting to listen to as the extremists.

So we get no media time. DAMN EXTREMIST MEDIA! ****in' vast left-right right-left wing conspiracy!
