    did you even read your own link? that's not what the article says at all...

    They are saying the same thing basically everyone informed about global warming is saying.

    US environmental policies are contributing to global warming which will lead to more hurricanes and more intense hurricanes.

      The more gay people, the fewer abortions. If we start advocating gayness, we can soon stop worrying about hurricanes, and concentrate on blaming Bush for weekend overcasts.

        well, I'm trying my best to defend the religious right. But it's becoming increasingly difficult as they go off the deep end of sane thought. I give up.

                              Actually, according to the guy who does all the predicting of hurricanes, global warming isn't responsible for this. It has more to do with El Niño. If it were global warming, you'd see more storms across the globe, but there are less in the Pacific and Indian oceans right now.
                              Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

"Even the orange color of the image is reminiscent of a commonly used pro-life picture of early prenatal development."

                                This actually amuses me. Do they think that the hurricane, when viewed from above, has an orange color? The image they chose looks like a doppler RADAR image, to boot.

                                Typical of these nutjobs, not letting facts get in the way of rhetoric.
