Yeah, and how is that calling looting "honorable?" You can spare me your own blusterings, because you're just making up intentions that aren't there. I was referring to those who were saying that looting was looting and ergo wrong under every circumstance. I believe that to be a stupid and insensitive generalization, as I think looting essential supplies isn't wrong in extreme circumstances. That doesn't mean it's honorable or dishonorable, it's just a fact of survival at that point.

Hell you even denied that they were looting things other than food.

No, I said the footage I had seen on CNN at that point was all of people taking essential supplies--meaning that I didn't see the looting of luxuries as widespread. That was 4 days ago, and the more pernicious looting didn't start becoming a real problem until later. So I was right on that, too.

Care to make it 0 for 3 with another wrong claim, DD?

                  • USA today reported some guy was using his truck to pick up people in neighbordhoods. Then some thugs carjacked it at knifepoint, presumably to use it for looting.

Id say thats a BAD thing. Can we agree?

                        • Yeah I pointed that out earlier, and also inquired as to the role of the Chinese in all of this.

And why aren't they showing any pictures of Icelanders finding groceries.
