No you don't . All you get a nice mention that you invented the game and that's it. Frankly I'd rather adopt Brazilian terms (whatever they are), because they've shown better ability to play the game .

That's ok. English is a very adoptive language. You don't think 'khaki' was originally come up with by a bunch of drunken farts in Manchester, do you?

You fail to remember that this is the part of the world where a player was shot dead for a mistake at the World Cup.
Surely Mexico isn't as unstable as Columbia.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Says someone who's never seen a match.
The Mexicans all engage in kicking and fouling of American players. They all play dirty, some more than others, of course, but they've all done it. Perhaps you can get away with more in the Mexican League, but it's not clean football to us.
Theres always players sticking a foot in where they shouldnt, if a player retaliates other players get invovled where they shouldnt and the thing snowballs, especially in a derby game. If youd been to a few derby games youd know thats not unusual, neither is dirty play by ANY team, but perhaps this was all a plan by every Mexican player... of course none of your players retaliated or threw a couple of words back either and the Mexicans just went on a 90min rampage for no good reason...
To say Mexico are just a naturally aggressive or dirty team based on a couple of players is ridiculous, I dont even say that about Argentina, but they certainly have more than their fair share of idiots using dirty tricks, trying to get people sent off.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)

Ive been to plenty of matches
Not this one.

The team is guilty of cheap fouls (Beasley was fouled 7 times yesterday, and two of them led to yellows - for example), but I can't believe that you have no idea what 'dirty Mexicans' stands for. The perception of them being a 3rd world country may shead some light.
I thought you were more open-minded than that, Imran. I dunno though, maybe all the latin countries fans want to shoot their players for making mistakes?
When it's true, it's true. You think Europeans have a passion for the game. You guys have nothing on Latin American fans.Last edited by Imran Siddiqui; September 4, 2005, 15:48.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Im becoming aware of why you call them dirty Mexicans.
Yep, the dirty stinking Mexicans. I didn't think of the fouling bit, but it also fits.
All latin people are dangerous murderers or violent hooligans because they have passion for the game? Right.
Hey, latin fans are known for being uber passionate about the sport. You are the one coming with the strawman that they are all violent (though Columbian violence does show how much the game means there). Hell, Azteca in Mexico City can seat 106,000 people and sells out for the clubs it hosts. The hatred and vitrol shown to the US by other CONCACAF sides should show that as well. Its a combination of their passion for the game and their hatred at what the US stands for.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

With each bullet his assailant was reported by police to have shouted: "Goal."
Im surprised any player goes on international duty for any latin country at all.Call to Power 2: Apolyton Edition - download the latest version (12th June 2011)
