Grow up Kuci (agist slur +1)! It's a very intelligent political move. Opposing the President on the easy things makes it him think twice about the harder things. The Republicans used it brilliantly during the 90s after they gained power by Gingrich. He understood that principle and made Clinton into an uber-moderate whereas when he came into office he proposed a single-payer health care system and had raised taxes. The Democrats under Reid are trying to take that lesson from the Gingrich Republicans.He's got the Midas touch.
