    I say Canada ought to confiscate the seeds,, plant them on the American border, and when the winds are right, light 'em all up.

That would make his extradition impossible since he broke no 'real' law in Canada. Or so the question goes.

      The other is, fine, the US can have him and prosecute him based on insane anti-drugs laws. Just give us Fred Phelps so we can do the same based on our insane anti-hate laws.

      Fair trade?
      MORE than fair. You can keep Phelps forever

        Bad idea, I think that the Iranians would supply him with all the C-4 he could carry back home to Kansas with him.

            How about Michael Moore? He broke our election laws while IN Canada.

                  Sadly he was a supporter of the party that won, hence I don't expect them to make the request.

                  Btw, have you seen MM lately? Will a U-Haul do it?

                        Selling booze to the dry US was not in the least bit illegal.

                        Smuggling is in the eye of the state that it comes in to.
                        I think that if Canada wants to have their laws respected by others, then they should respect the laws of the countries that Canadians smuggle to. The reason they turned a blind eye, is because they made a killing by shipping alcohol to a dry US.

                          Do you mean that european youths between 18-21 then should be allowed to drink beer when visiting us ? It's legal for them back home.
                          With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

                            let's just review a few things

                            weed = good
                            religion = bad
                            law enforcement (as applies to marijuana) = bad
                            US (as it applies to asswipe bureaucrats) = bad
                            To us, it is the BEAST.

                              If what he was doing was legal in Canada not only should he not be extradited but he never should have been raided. I am sure that I break laws of other countries daily. As long as I am a US citizen and don't break US laws I dont expect to be sent to another country for trail for a law of thiers that I may have broken.
