  • Explain micronations to me

This is one of those topics I'd mentally filed under "dull geekery" and studiously avoided investigating. Now, with the sort of compulsion normally associated with picking at a scab, I feel compelled to discover more about them.

So what are they? More pressingly, what's the point of them? Explanations, personal experiences, amusing anecdotes- all are invited. I promise I won't laugh.

Do you mean, like, really tiny countries?

I suspect not. I think it's something far more terrifying.

Something quite "aspie" if you ask me.

Aspies are going to be cutting edge pretty soon. All it'll take is for a few celebs with big ****e-eating grins to out themselves and suddenly they'll all be too cool for school.

People will want to hire them as pets, to bring a dose of eccentric right-braininess into their households. Glamour models will choose to mate with them in a bid to boost the conversational skills of their offspring. They're the new ubermenschen.

I think there are a few closet cases in Hollywood. Scarlet Johansen, for one. From a certain angle she even looks a bit retarded.

Does this angle involve slipping her a length? Because if not, I'll still be a happy athejew.

              I feel.. confused..?
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

A resident sage on another site described an Asperger's afflictee he met as being "like a genius on acid". That's a brilliant depiction. Asperger's is where it's at for 2006- you heard it here first.

Robin Cook, on the other hand, did not have Aspergers. But he has just died, which is a similarly debilitating social dysfunction.

He was also ginger. That's quite sad too. Ginger and dead.
