1. Do you feel comfortable in bars with friends that all consume alc while you dont? Do you go to bars at all?

Yes, it can be rather enjoyable to be the only sober one surrounded by drunk folks.

2. Do you feel comfortable at clubs/partys while not drinking or consuming any drugs while everybody arround you is obviuosly drinking/using? Do you go to partys at all?

Depends. Drinking and smoking, sure. Using drugs, no.

I'm a not a non-drinker, but my answer to all of those questions is 'yes'.

I can flip out pretty badly when sober, which helps.

I can be 'sympathetically drunk'. All the fun, none of the side effects...maybe that is indicative that I can have a laugh despite being sober. However it makes people who need a drink particularly uncomfortable...

...Going out I can spend around $60-80. Normally I spend that much in two weeks if I just kick it at my friends house drinkin.

Hard liquor is bad.

I went to parties and bars before I Started drinking (I didn't start drinking until age 22)

and as long as a number of the people arround me were my freinds, I was just fine
